Hi there! My name is Dawn Underwood, and I've had the pleasure of working with preschoolers and their families in Johnson County since 2006. In 2010, I founded the nonprofit, Early Learning Community to provide high-quality early education and care that is accessible to all families. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in early education from Ball State University.

I've been married to my wonderful husband for 36 years, and we have two grown children and one granddaughter. I'm so grateful to lead an early childhood program with a team of amazing teachers. It's a privilege to work with young children and their families during this critical period of growth and brain development. I believe that all children are capable, creative, and active learners. I'm committed to providing an environment where children can explore their interests and make their own discoveries.
